LICINIUS I. 308-324 AD. Æ Follis (23mm - 5.16 g). Heraclea mint. Struck 312-313 AD. IMP C VAL LIC LICINIVS P F AVG, laureate head right / IOVI CONS-ERVATORI, Jupiter standing left, holding globe in right hand, scepter in left; pellet in wreath//SMHTD. RIC VI - (cf. 69). Near EF, brown patina with a trace of silvering. Unrecorded mint mark.
RIC doesn't record the mint mark with the officina letter in the exergue. RIC doesn't record any letters or symbols in the wreath in the left field, though a number of different varieties have been observed including star, T, V, leaf and others. RIC notes that the wreath in the left field (also found at Siscia and Thessalonica) is an anticipatory look forward to Licinius' quinquennalia of 313 AD.
