SICILY. Syracuse. Philistis, wife of Hieron II. 275-215 BC. AR Tetradrachm (26mm - 13.34 g). Struck circa 216-215 BC. Diademed and veiled head of Philistis left; wreath behind / Nike in walking quadriga right, holding reins in both hands; F above. Burnett, "The Enna Hoard," SNR 62, 18ff; SNG ANS 872ff. VF, toned, some peripheral roughness on the reverse.
