Second Lohara dynasty, Sussala. Ca. A.D. 1112-1120. Æ stater (19 mm, 6.21 g). Goddess Lakshmi seated facing, with Nagari legend Su to left and ssala to right / King standing sacrificing at altar, with Nagari legend Deva to right. Mitchiner, Non-Islamic 190. Coins of Sussala are hard to find. This attractive specimen has complete legends on a full flan. Rare and choice. Earthen-green patina. Very fine .
