KINGS of PERSIS. Vahsir (Oxathres) I. 1st century BC.–1st century AD. AR Drachm (3.29 gm; 22mm x 17mm). Type 2. Bearded bust left, wearing diadem with two ties and torque with three segments; e behind / Vahsir standing right, holding scepter and sacrificing before altar to right. Alram 585; Tyler-Smith -; Sunrise 605. Minor scratch on the obverse. Well struck on a nice oval shaped flan. Choice EF. Scarce.
