D N VALENS PER F AVG, pearl and rosette diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Valens right / GLORIA ROMANORVM, Emperor standing right, holding spear and globe, within archway with two columns; ANT··. Cf. RIC 4b; RSC -. Extremely rare. Well centered and an exceptional portrait, but unfortunately with a large edge chip. Extremely fine.
