Leo VI, the Wise. 886-912. Æ follis (24 mm, 6.03 g, 6 h). Constantinople. Crowned and draped bust of Leo VI facing, holding akakia / +L?On/?n ??O ?A/SIL?VS R/Om?On in four lines. DOC 8; SB 1729. Dark green patina, light deposits, slight rubbing in the fields. Good very fine.
