Gepids. Uncertain King. 454-552. AR 1/4 siliqua (14 mm, 0.59 g, 6 h). Imitating Theoderic. Sirmium, but copying Ravenna, in the name of Anastasius I. D И AΛSTΛSIVS PP AVC, diademed and draped bust of Anastasius I right / IVICΛΛIXPIΛΛV, monogram of Theoderic. Cf. Stefan 1-3; cf. COI, p. 43, fig. 22; cf. Demo 69-81; MEC 1, -. Well centered and struck, small stress fracture at 9h. Extremely fine.
