Austrian States, Salzburg. Matthäus Lang v. Wellenburg. 1519-1540. AR 1/2 batzen (21 mm, 2.07 g, 3 h). Dated 1527. Arms of Salzburg and Wellenburg family, date above / Half-length figure of St. Rupert facing three-quarters left, wearing episcopal regalia, raising hand in benediction and holding crozier. Zöttl 277; Probszt 267; Schulten 4318. Toned. Very fine.
