Description
ARAB-SASANIAN. Farrukzadan. Year 75. Æ (3.72 gm; 25 mm). Bishapur Daray mint. Obverese Sasanian style bust to the right, legend in 2 lines, first line next to the face: : F’lakhzatan and second line ‘wst’nd’l (Ostandar?), reverse, fire altar with attendants; phrase “Daray” on the right and year 75 on the left. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Small cut on reverse at 10, otherwise well struck. Dark brown patina. Choice VF. Extremely rare.
