A choice Jalisco figure from West Mexico, c. 200 BC – 350 AD. This seated male is 5-1/2” high and is adorned with an incised headband. Black paint over the red slip is used to indicate facial décor and jewelry. Strong mineral deposits. Museum deaccession. Value range: $300 - $400
