ISLAMIC ANTIQUE SEALS. Brass Seal (6.04 gm; 17mm x 13mm x 19mm). Persia Name in Farsi (Persian) in “Nastaliq” calligraphic style “Yousef Reza-zadeh” and in French “Joseph Reza-zadh”-date below the Farsi name 1332 AH (1914-1915 AD) – This date coincides with the reign of Persia’s last Qajar Monarch, Sultan Ahmad Shah (1909-1925 AD). Seals and letter heads began to be developed by Persian merchants as well as business entities since the time of Naseraldin Shah Qajar (1848-1896 AD). Many merchants began to establish trade bases in Europe, Africa and Far East following various trade treaties signed by Naseraldin Shah in his trips to Europe. Excellent condition.
