ISLAMIC ANTIQUE SEALS. Agate Seal with Silver frame (3.24 gm; 20mm x 11mm x 10mm). Original suspension loop. Persia-Safavid Empire period: phrase written in Farsi (Persian) in “Nastaliq” calligraphic style “Hast Mokhayyar Mohamad-Shfie” meaning The Genrous Mohamad Shafie”, date 1092 AH (1681-1682 AD). This date coincides with the reign of Persia’s Safavid Shah, Suleiman I (1666- 1694) who was the great grand son of Abbas I (the Great). Excellent condition.
