Description
ISLAMIC ANTIQUE SEALS. Brass Seal with silver frame (5.48 gm; 17mm x 13mm x 23mm) with original swing heart shaped suspension loop. Persia or Ottoman Turkey: written in “Naskh” calligraphic style within a decorative edge, phrase on the top “Bismellah-al-Rahman al-Rahim” (in the name of God the merciful), middle, name “Ali-qoli”, below “Ben Aliqays (son of Ali-qais), date 1345 AH (1926-1927 AD). This date coincides with the reign of Persia’s first Pahlavi monarch, Reza Shah (1925-1941 AD). Excellent condition.
