SASANIAN KINGS. Ardashir II. 379-383 AD. Æ Drachm (3.72 gm; 28 mm). Obverse; Ardashir bust turning right, reverse; fire altar with attendants. debasement of silver drachms have been noted in most of the early to middle years of the empire. Ardashir II series are typically very rare. Sunrise 870. Holed. Nice original find patina.
