IONIA. Smyrna. Pseudo-Autonomous Issue. Circa 2nd-3rd Century AD. Æ 16mm (3.58 g). Bust of Herakles right, lion's skin around neck / River-god reclining left, holding reed in right hand, left elbow resting on urn from which water flows. Klose 16 (V10/R15); SNG Copenhagen 1261 (same dies); SNG von Aulock 2182 (same dies). VF, dark brown patina.
