THRACE. Abdera. Circa 411/10-386/5 BC. Fourrée Stater (22mm - 9.80 g). Python, magistrate. Griffin crouching left / Tripod. Cf. May group CV, 345-8 (dies not listed). Good VF, a couple of edge scrapes.

Although there is no copper core exposed anywhere on the coin, the coin is too light to be solid silver. There are a few blisters on the reverse where the copper core may be starting to corrode.
