CILICIA. Coripissus. Valerian I. 253-260 AD. Æ 32mm (12.96 g). Laureate and cuirassed bust right / A/NEIC/FOPI/A, legend in four lines within wreath. SNG Levante -; SNG France -; SNG von Aulock -; SNG Copenhagen -; Spoerri and Butcher, "ANEISFORIA sur des monnaies de Coropissos en Cilicie," in Schweizer Munzblatter 190 (July 1998), 1 (av1/rv1). Fine, dark green patina, some reverse adjustment marks.
Very rare issue, only 2 specimens cited by S&B from 2 die pairs, and a 3rd example struck in the name of Gallienus.
