Description
PAMPHYLIA. Aspendos. Circa 465-430 BC. AR Obol (8mm - 0.98 g). Vase with one handle; E-[Σ] retrograde across field / Triskeles within incuse square. SNG France 14 var. (letters on rev.); SNG von Aulock 4485. VF, minor granularity.
An unusual obverse types that on some specimens resembles a vase, and on others (like this coin) look more like an astragalos and a globe. I've left the description as a vase since that's what all the references refer to the type as.
