SASANIAN KINGS. Ardashir I. 223/4/240 AD. Billon Tetradrachm (29mm - 13.32 g). Ctesiphon mint. Bust right, wearing diadem and Parthian-style tiara decorated with seven-rayed star / Fire altar with no attendants. SNS Type IIe/3a(1d). Good VF but a bit porous and rough, good silvering.
