Constantine IV Pogonatus. 668-685. AV solidus (19 mm, 4.44 g, 6 h). Constantinople, 681-685. P CONS-TAN-ЧS PP A, fine-style helmeted and cuirassed bust of Constantine IV facing slightly right, with short beard, holding spear over shoulder and shield / VICTORA AVςЧ, cross potent set on three steps; H/CONOBA. DOC 15c; MIB 11; SB 1158. Rare officina, and with a fine style portrait reminiscent of fifth-century Roman coinage. Good very fine.
