Octavian. 30-29 B.C. AR denarius (20 mm, 4.32 g, 11 h). Uncertain mint in Italy (Rome?). Bare head of Octavian right / IMP CAESAR across field, ithyphallic boundary-stone of Jupiter Terminus, surmounted by laureate head of Octavian facing, set on thunderbolt. RIC 269a; HCRI 425; BN 49-51; BMC 628-9; RSC 114. Nice very fine.
