AV écu d'or à la chaise (28 mm, 4.43 g, 9 h). 6th emission. + PHILIPPVS: DЄI· ··GRA·· FRANCORVM: RЄX, full-length figure of Philippe VI seated facing on ornate Gothic throne, holding shield and sword; all within tressure of arches / + XP'C: VINCIT: XP'C: RЄGNAT: XP'C: INPЄRAT, ornate cross fleurée with central four petalled flower, bars end intrefoils; leaves in quarters; all within quadrilobe with arches ending in trefoils. Duplessy 249E: Friedberg 270. Good very fine.
