Bruttium, Kroton. Ca. 530-500 B.C. AR nomos (27 mm, 7.64 g, 12 h). Spread incuse type. Tripod with legs terminating in lions' feet; to right, heron standing left / Tripod similar to obverse, but incuse; to right, heron standing left. SNG ANS 249; HN Italy 2081. Thick natural patina, some roughness. Very fine.
