England. Henry VII. 1485-1509. AR groat (28 mm, 2.46 g). Regular profile issue. London, 1505-1509. Initial mark: pheon. Crowned bust of Henry VII (by A. de Brugsal) right / Arms over long cross fourchée; saltires in cross ends. North 1747; SCBC 2258. Toned. Well centered on a broad flan, but with several small dents or attempted punctures in the fields. Very fine.
Purchased by the consignor from M. McGarry, 2016.
