Description
Roman. 1st-4th centuries A.D. Lot of 2 lead tessera or tokens. Both having a stellate (or perhaps a simplified Chi-Rho monogram) within a linear circle on one side, uncertain designs on the other. The larger piece is 18 mm and has a light gray-brown patina. The smaller piece is 13 mm and has a dark brown patina. Both are crude as issued but intact.
