IMP T AEL CAES HADR AN-TONINVS AVG PIVS, laureate head of Antoninus Pius right / [P] M [TR P]OT COS II, S C across field, Annona standing facing, head left, holding grain ears over modius at feet to left, and cornucopiae; to right in background, part of ship visible. RIC 529b; cf. BMC 1134 (bust). Handsome and bold early style portrait of Pius. Brown patina. Choice very fine / very fine.
