KINGS of MACEDON. Alexander III. 336-323 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.76 gm; 35mm x 31mm). Posthumous issue. Autonomous issue, struck circa 188-170 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress / Zeus seated left, holding eagle and sceptre, cup within wreath. Cf. Price 1690; Cf. Müller 966. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Couple of minor hairline scratches on the obverse field. Choice EF.
