KINGS of MACEDON. Alexander III 'The Great'. 336-323 BC. AR Tetradrachm (27mm - 16.81 g). Myriandros mint. Lifetime issue, struck circa 330-325 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress / Zeus seated left, holding eagle in right hand, scepter in left; BAI monogram in left field; MI monogram below throne. Price 3228; Müller -; Newell, Myriandros 25. VF, surface erosion and horn silver on both sides.
