PHOENICIA. Byblos. Circa 365-350 BC. AR Stater (24mm - 13.19 g). Three warriors, holding shields, standing on galley left on waves, prow ending in lion's head; below, hippocamp left above murex, Phoenician “ZO” above dorsal fin / Lion attacking bull to left. Betlyon 14 var. (no “ZO”); SNG Copenhagen 132; Dewing 2662. EF, typical worn dies, reverse well struck and not doubled as usually found. A nice example.
