AELIA EUDOCIA, wife of Theodosius II. Augusta, 423-460 AD. Æ 13mm (0.90 g). Constantinople mint. Struck 423-425 AD. [AE]L EDO-C[IA AVG], diademed and draped bust right / CONCOR-DIA AVG, Eudocia seated facing, arms crossed over breast, star in left field; [CONS]. RIC X 428; LRBC 2230. Near EF from the standpoint of wear, brown patina, flan a bit ragged. Unusually sharp strike. Scarce.
