KINGS of MACEDON. Alexander III 'The Great'. 336-323 BC. AR Tetradrachm (27mm - 16.72 g). Corinth mint. Struck circa 310-290 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress / Zeus seated left, holding eagle in right hand, sceptre in left, two small Nikai on back rest of throne; Athena standing facing before, OLU below throne. Price 695; Müller 879. VF, toned, surfaces a little rough, obverse a bit off-center, obverse die break.
