Description
A pair of attractive Egyptian faience Ushabtis, Late Period, c. 664 - 343 BC, the first with nice green glaze and remains of black detailing and inscription down front. H: 2 ¾” (7 cm). Repaired at knees. The second is a small and extremely detailed example, glaze now a pale tan color. H: 2” (5.1 cm). Intact. Ex Orange County private collection. Value range $400 - $500.
