A pair of Syrian stone seals, c. 2nd Millennium BC, the first conical with flat base, holed for suspension, on base a winged solar disc above a reclining canine, H: 25mm. Intact, earthen deposits. The second is in the form of a bird, with small head and wings in low relief. On base, an insect resembling a butterfly or dragonfly, L: 28mm. Intact. An interesting pair of seals!
