Description
A nice Roman bronze lamp, c. 2nd - 3rd Century AD, the body circular with fill-hole at center of concave disk. The nozzle is ornate with projections around the spout, the ring handle decorated with a tall fan-like device with balls at the end of each ‘spike’. The lamp sits on a small ring base. L: 5 ¼” (13.4 cm). Intact with nice patination. Ex Orange County private collection. Value range $500 - $600.
