JUSTINIAN I. 527-565. AV Solidus (22mm - 4.42 g). Constantinople mint. Struck 527-538. Pearl-diademed, helmeted, and cuirassed bust facing slightly right, holding spear and shield / Angel standing facing, holding long cross and globus cruciger; star to right; A//CONOB. DOC 3a; SB 137. EF from the standpoint of wear, but there is a flan flaw in the center of both sides, lustrous, slightly wavy flan.
