Ireland. James II. 1690. Æ crown (33 mm, 15.26 g). 'Gun Money'. King on horseback left, holding sword / Cruciform crowned arms. SCBC 6578; KM 103.1. Rarely seen with the armor struck up this sharply. Glossy, dark brown patina with sharply struck centers. Extremely fine.
