LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 300-250 BC. Æ (2.86 gm; 14 mm). Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress / META, ear of barley. Johnston Bronze 60; SNG ANS 567; HN Italy 1696. Well struck on a nice compact flan. Brown-reddiswith a hint of original green patina. Choice aEF.
