SASANIAN KINGS. Shahpur II. AD. 320-379. AR Drachm (3.48 gm; 27 mm). Bust right, wearing mural crown with korymbos / Fire altar with ribbon; flanked by two attendants, each wearing mural crown, the left with korymbos. SNS type Ia/1a1 (pl. 1, 3); MK 1201; Gobl type Ia/4; Paruck -; Saeedi -; Sunrise 827var. Lovely style. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Large pellet right behind the shoulder at 8. Choice EF. Lightly toned.
