UMAYYAD. Umayyad; Hisham (b. ‘Abd al-Malik), (105-125 AH / 724-743 AD). Silver Dirhem (2.85 gm; 27 mm). Obverse; standard Umayyad Shahadah at the center with marginal stating mint and year, mint; Dimashq (Damascus), year 113 AH, reverse; from 112th Surah of the Quran with marginal legend (Quran IX,33), Album 137; Tabatabai 77. Choice EF. Nice old cabinet toning.
