THESSALY. Pharsalos. Late 5th-mid 4th century BC. Æ 18mm (6.40 g). Three-quarter facing head of Athena, head turned left, wearing triple crested helmet; shield right / Warrior on horseback right, wearing petasos, holding mace overhead; behind walks a foot soldier holding a mace over shoulder. Lavva 338 (V173/R242); Rogers 505; SNG Copenhagen 232. VF, dark greenish-brown patina, high relief. Actually fairly high grade for these.
