CILICIA. Tarsus. Gordian III. 238-244 AD. Æ 36mm (32.65 g). Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust left, right hand raised, holding Victory in left hand / Gordian standing left, holding Nike in right hand, spear in left; bound Persian captive seated before, head turned back towards Gordian. SNG France 1723 (same dies); SNG Levante 1146 (same dies). Near VF, brown and green patina.
