[IMP CAES NER]VAE TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P COS V P P, laureate bust right, slight drapery on left shoulder / S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI, AQVA/TRAIANA and SC in exergue, the Genius of the Aqua Traiana reclining left under arched and ornamented grotto on urn from which water flows, holding reed in right hand. RIC II 463; BMCRE pg. 202 ++; BN 613. Near VF/VF, grayish-brown surfaces. Rare in this denomination and a popular reverse type.
