SASANIAN KINGS. Bahram (Varhran) II. 276-293 AD. Silver Drachm (4.10 gm; 28 mm). Obverse; standard triple portrait type. Bahram with standard crown of his reign with dot behind the crown, Queen with Senmurgh (Simorgh) crown, crown prince with eagle crown, reverse; fire altar with attendants, both right and left attendants wearing Bahram's crown, Farawahar symbol to the left of flames. Couple of minor hairline scratches on the obverse. Minor chipping on the edge, otherwise well struck. Choice Good VF / Very Fine. Sunrise 790. Extremely rare.
