SASANIAN KINGS. Varahran IV. AD. 388-399. Æ (2.14 gm; 19 mm). Obverse; Bahram's bust turning right with monogram of hand holding a flower (a motif seen in Sasanian seals as well), reverse, fire altar with attendants, no mint or date. Extremely rare issue with rare monogram. In Vedic religions such as Hinduism who share elements with Zoroastrianism, flower (specially Lotus) symbolizes purity and enligtenment. Lovely strike on a nice broad medallic flan. Choice Good VF. Nice original find patina. Extremely rare.
