Description
Ionia, Miletos. Late 6th-early 5th centuries B.C. AR obol (10 mm, 1.25 g). Forepart of roaring lion right, head left / Stellate pattern within incuse square. SNG von Aulock 2080; SNG Kayhan 482. Toned. Obverse slightly off-center, otherwise an extractive example in good metal. Good very fine.
