Description
Syria, Seleucis and Pieria. Antiochia ad Orontem. Nero, with Divus Claudius. A.D. 54-68. AR tetradrachm (25 mm, 9.28 g, 12 h). A.D. 63/4-68. Laureate head of Nero right; behind, star / Laureate head of Claudius right. RPC 4123; McAlee 270; Prieur 48. A few light marks. The weight of this coin is lighter than most examples of the type, suggesting that it might be fourrée. Nearly very fine.
