Date: 211-217 AD
Obverse: Laureate draped cuirassed bust of Caracalla left, holding shield and spear
Reverse: Herakles right, grasping antlers of the Cerynean Hind and pinning it down with his knee in its back.
Attribution: Varbanov 1988
Grade: good Fine plus
Weight: 13.4 grs.
Measure: 26.8 mm.
Notes:
A nice example of a mythological type reverse.
