Lot 316: Macrinus, Moesia Inferior, Nikopolis ad Istrum Æ28 / City gate with three towers

Date: 217-218 AD

Obverse: Laureate head of Macrinus right.
Reverse: City gate with two towers, a third tower rising behind. The towers have interesting tops, and the middle tower is taller. There is a pellet in each brick and the doors are closed.
