Description
KUSHANO-SASANIAN. Peroz, King of Kidarites (circa 345-350 AD). Æ (1.00 gm; 12 mm). Early Kidarite issued in the name of Bahram Kushanshah who was the last Kushano Sasanian king, Ghandaharor Peshawar region; obverse, bust turning right with ram horn crown topped by lotus flower, phrase-legend in Pahlavi "Wrhran" reverse; phrase "BWLZAWNDY YZDTY" (Exalted God), figure representing Ahuramazda in the fire altar with staff and Xvarrah symbol ANS Kushan 2417. Choice EF. Nice original find patina.
