KINGS of PERSIS. Oxathres I. 1st century BC.– 1st century AD. AR Hemidrachm (1.88 gm; 13 mm). Type 2. Bearded bust left, wearing diadem with two(?) ties and torque with three segments; traces of monogram behind / Vahsir standing right, holding scepter and sacrificing before altar to right; blundered legend. K&M 4/21; Alram 586; Sunrise 606var. Well struck on a nice full flan. Well-centered. Choice EF. Nice old-cabinet toning.
